Blast back to the mid to late nineties, and Internet coupons were a big deal. Nearly all grocery stores took them, and you could really save a lot. Ahh. . . those were the days.
Well guess what? Those days are back (or at least coming back). Several grocery and drug store chains have begun to offer their own printable coupons--and the savings is very real. Twice in the last month Walgreens offered a one-day-only coupon for $5 off of $20. That's a 25 percent savings! Throw in a few manufacturer coupons and take advantage of the monthly EasySaver deals--and we're talking about the kind of savings that leaves the cashier wondering if she rang something up wrong.

More About Couponing:

Some, I don’t know if all, WalMarts are refusing to accept internet coupons! What a rip-off!
It doesn’t work at the Walmart on route 40 in Catonsville, MD. While I was in the store, the manager, Marty, wouldn’t even take the time to talk to me after the cashier refused my coupons (which DID meet the requirements listed on the website). I had to leave to pick up my child, so I phoned the store and spoke to the Ass. Manager, Max. He admitted he knew about the walmartstores.com policy and still said the store didn’t take coupons. I have emailed and snail-mailed Walmart (corporate) and its been two weeks with no response.
Walmart DOES NOT take gimmick coupons that are not linked to a manufacturer’s product. Walmart cannot keep prices low and eat that kind of loss.
