I’ve seen many nice Target items at the Goodwill store, with the tags still on them! I have been able to pick up brand new Isaac Mizrahi designer items from Target at a fraction of the original cost.

Although it is true that there are lots of sales in September, you must be careful because some merchandisers actually raise prices on sales items and then put them on sale….I have seen this time and time again. My advice is that if you are looking to purchase something expensive…you should research it well and for a while.

This is a very helpful list of when to buy items when they are cheapest. It would have been nice to include “in season” fruits and veggies for each month.

Hi Janice,

I actually have a guide to the cheapest fruits and vegetables by month too. It can be found here: The Cheapest Fruits and Vegetables Month-By-Month
