Leftover Candy Chocolate Bark

By , About.com Guide

Pull some of your leftover Halloween candy out of the pantry, and use it to create chocolate bark for the holidays.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 15 minutes or less

Here's How:

  1. Melt the baker's chocolate in the microwave.
  2. Pour it onto a foil-lined cookie sheet.
  3. Smooth it out with a spatula until you have a uniform thickness.
  4. Press leftover candy into the chocolate while it is still soft.
  5. Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator until the chocolate cools and hardens.
  6. Break the chocolate slab into smaller pieces. Then, place the finished bark in a pretty container for gift giving (or eat it if temptation wins out).

What You Need

  • Baker's chocolate
  • Leftover candy (candy bars, M&M's, peanut butter cups, etc.)
  • A microwave-safe bowl
  • A cookie sheet
  • Foil
  • A rubber spatula
