Put a timer on your hot water heater. I'm single, and my hot water heater only needs to run for 30 minutes every other day to have plenty of hot water (okay, sometimes its just warm water, but it's plenty for me).

I think! That's right – I think every purchase through. I read labels; check out how things are made; and only buy things that are a bargain.
