What You're Doing Now to Save Money:
I turn out lights; hang out cold-water-washed clothes; don't drive two days a week; consolidate errands based on location; turn down the thermostat; eat what I call 'peasant' food, where meat is only a seasoning, if there's any at all; wear out clothes no matter how bored I get with them; buy Angel Food (and volunteer there to help with the distribution); take in sewing repairs from others; knit/sew/mend; have a garden; belong to a CSA (community supported agriculture) group; donate time to charity rather than money; and practice contentment.
