The Craziest Thing You Do to Save Money:
Dumpster dive. I have found expensive clothing with the tags still on them that I can give as gifts (without shame). I have also found free food, toys, soap, shampoo and magazines.
What You're Doing Now to Save:
Cutting back on eating out – I have found that cooking at home can be fun; covering my windows with fabric, as well as curtains; raising the temperature on the AC to 78 (I live in LA) and not running the heat in the winter (again in live in LA).
