- 1 bag coleslaw mix (cabbage & carrots)
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey, browned
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- 3 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
1. Mix the first four ingredients with hands.
2.Heat one-inch of oil in a frying pan to medium/high (but more towards medium).
3.Place one large spoonful of mix on a wrapper, and roll per instructions on package. Repeat with remaining filling and wrappers.
4.Fry until deep golden brown on both sides.
Stephanie says: Meat is not needed for this recipe. Additional veggies may be substituted. Adding ground ginger is also delicious. Eggrolls may be refrigerated and microwaved. Very economical!
