Oven Fries

Call 'em oven fries, home fries or just plain delicious. This non-fried version of an American favorite – the French fry – is cheap, easy to make and down-right delectable.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 1-1/2 lbs potatoes (about three large potatoes)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. Wash and dry potatoes; then cut them into thin wedges (about 1/2-inch thick).

3.Pour olive oil into a 13 X 9 pan.

4. Add potato wedges to the pan, and toss to coat with oil.

5. Add salt to taste.

6. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.

Variation: Customize this recipe to your taste buds by adding your favorite spices or seasonings. Try Parmesan and herb, chili powder, garlic and onion or something else entirely. Experiment and enjoy!
