Looking for free music that you can listen to online or download to your MP3 player? Here are several great sites to check out, starting with the best:

1. Pandora.com

2. Spinner.com

Choose from 350 radio stations; listen to new CDs in their entirety; download the free MP3 of the day; or view one of the many previously-recorded performances. There's lots to do and explore on this site.

3. Jango.com

Jango is online radio gone social. Enter an artist's name, and it'll play songs by that artist, along with songs recommended by other users who like the same artist. You can create your own custom playlists, view other people's playlists and chat with other music fans about your favs.

4. NPR.Com

7. Amazon.com
