Here's a wow-worthy gift idea that won't break the bank: reusable shopping totes made out of t-shirts. Give five or six to someone as a gift or use them in place of gift bags. Either way, they're sure to be a hit.

Keep your gift wrap costs down this year by making your own gift boxes out of empty cereal boxes. Once assembled they look just like store-bought shirt boxes:

Ham for $1 a Pound
Monday December 1, 2008
If you like a good ham bargain, now's the time to call or stop by your local HoneyBaked Ham store.
They typically offer a buy one get one free deal on their ham bones after the holidays as a way to unload their inventory. So, for $5.99 plus tax you can get two ham bones with a full two to three pounds of meat on each. Now that's a freezer-worthy deal.
Mark your calendars: HoneyBaked usually offers the same deal after Christmas
