Cheap College Textbooks

Tuesday August 14, 2007

Heading back to college or have a son or daughter that is? Well, here's a great way to save on textbooks: skip the college book store, and check out Campus Book Swap instead.

Simply enter the title of the book that you're looking for, and the name of the school that you attend; and the site will return a list of all of the copies available for sale on your campus. You can even use the site to post your own books for sale. Think of it as the simple and affordable approach to textbook shopping.

When I was in college (wow I feel old saying that!) I used on-line book price comparison search engines to save money on my books. The best one out today is http://www.smartbookfinder.com. Just thought I’d share some of my elderly wisdom!

When buying cheap textbooks online pick your shipping carefully, Media Mail is cheap but can take up to 4 weeks. I like Cheap-Textbooks.com
