Your Favorite Source for Bargains:

Goodwill Super Centers are a definite source for bargains for just about anything, but I use it mostly for my clothes. I have found top designer clothing there for a fraction of the price of buying it new. Most clothing is about $4.75 per item, and they offer half-price discounts on Midnight Madness days. I also love the print circulars that come in the mail - I save them; and use them along with glass cleaner to clean all the glass in my home. They work great - and they're free. ALDI'S is my go-to source for bargain groceries. I have been shopping there for years. They do not have a huge selection, but you cannot beat their prices. Right now I can buy four pounds of ground beef for UNDER $4.00 total! I also shop CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens for their clearance and sale items.

Good Will has LOTS of 50% off days as well! I have found sports coats for my son as well as brand named clothing. I bought a Pierre Carden shirt for 1.00! I recently found a long overcoat for my son for the winter, it is is perfect condition and I got it for 10.00 I have seen them in stores for well over 100.00! I have bought ties for both my husband and son for $.99 including silk ties made in Italy!

My daughter is getting married and I put a gift basket together for her and her husband to be. I found all kinds of vintage frames for their wedding pictures and I found a vintage metal container. I lined tissue paper in the metal container and put the vintage frames inside I then went to Walmart and filled the rest of the container with candles and candle holders. I found ribbon in the colors of my daughters wedding and tied it around the outside of the metal container and it looks beautiful. She has a very beautiful basket of candles, frames and a family album-family tree book (brand new and unopened also bought at Good Will for .99 cents!) So she has a gift container stuffed to the rim with frames and candles and a Family Tree book all for about $20.00

I had recently bought a wooden bird cage in perfect condition for about 8.00! I have seen these in stores for about 60.00 I lined the bottom of the cage with dollar store potpourri and put a dollar candle inside. It looks beautiful and didn’t cost much! I also bought a beautiful pitcher for about 2.00.

There are so many things you can do with stuff from thrift stores that it is only limited to your imagination. I have seen clay pots you can put plants in, for cheap I have seen all kinds of goodies that are very appropriate for gifts!!
