Guide Review - Sonicare Essence e5300
Buying a Sonicare Essence e5300 toothbrush is one instance where spending a lot means getting a lot. This sonic-powered toothbrush by Philips leaves teeth feeling cleaner and healthier.
Just push the green button on the front of the brushs barrel, and a timer will ensure that you brush for the full two minutes that dentists recommend. It can even be set to sound at 30-second intervals (the recommended time to spend on each quadrant of the mouth).
An included charging base makes it easy to keep the battery charged between uses, though the unit can go up to two weeks between chargings a particularly nice feature if you are a frequent traveler.
The e5300 retails for $89, but can be found on the Internet for as low as $58 a real steal given how much this toothbrush stands to save users on restorative dental work.
Since the brush head only needs to be replaced every six months (instead of the standard three), it doesnt cost much more than a normal toothbrush after you've purchased the base. Buy an extra brush head, and you can even share the toothbrush base with someone else in your home now thats a frugal toothbrush!
