Dandelion Tea



Dandelion Tea

Learn how to make tea from dandelion roots, and enjoy free tea year-round.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Yield: (4) 1/2 cup servings


  • 1 ounce of dandelion root


Simmer the dandelion root in three pints of water, until the liquid is reduced by half. Strain. Take one glass after meals.

Lisa says: Dandelion has been used for centuries by Chinese herbalists, and has been thought to help everything from indigestion to menopause. It's suppose to be great for cleansing the liver, as well; however, it's been reported that it can increase your appetite!
